PHILOSOPHY

With our decades of experience, Käuferle can offer just the right door solution, even for the most demanding requirements of underground garage doors, overhead doors or rolling doors for industrial and commercial use.

We can provide doors for industrial halls, fire brigade bases, rescue and emergency service headquarters, logistics centres, farms and workshops of any size.

We have made a name for ourselves throughout Germany as a successful supplier of partition wall systems, tailor-made shelters and overhead or sectional door systems as well as windows and doors made of plastic and aluminium.

Our products are increasingly used as architectural design elements. It is not just the unique design and craftsmanship and extraordinary value for money that play such a crucial role, but also our economical high-tech production.

HISTORY

Since the founding of Josef Käuferle in 1953 to the present day, we have consistently aligned our broad product range with the needs of the construction industry, offering a complete package of services.

 

2017

​Käuferle wins the German Design Award 2018 for its HT tilt door. The door is ideal for private garages: space-saving, functional and designed to individual requirements.

Investment in a new plastering machine. This mills and plasters the weld seams of window frames, making them almost invisible. In addition, this machine allows faster and easier control of processes and reduces pressure on employees.

2014-2015

By undertaking a complete renovation of the façade, Käuferle not only invests in the future of the Aichach site, but also improves the working environment. The introduction of natural daylight creates a brighter and friendlier workplace.

2013

In its 60th year, Käuferle completes the next planned step of the company’s development. Sebastian Käuferle, the grandson of the founder, is appointed Managing Director. Werner and Sebastian Käuferle lead the medium-sized company together. A highly regarded success in the area of product design: a special gate solution from Käuferle is awarded the prestigious “Iconic Award” design prize.

2010

Commissioning of a state-of-the-art robotic production plant for the production of the successful UTS® basement partition wall system. The fully automated system combines the individual components into a special punch riveting process (steel) with an innovative screwing technique (wood) to form a partition and door. By investing in a new production line, Käuferle optimizes its production processes and strengthens its market position as leading manufacturer of steel and wood partition walls.

Sebastian Käuferle, the grandson of the company’s founder, takes over the sales management of the company and becomes a member of the Executive Board.

Acquisition of the Mertinger “Südstahl” company.

Development and market launch of the overhead door “Käuferle-NA-perfect”, the ideal door solution for all collective garages as well as for new construction and refurbishment projects. Sebastian Käuferle, the son of the company’s owner Werner Käuferle, joins the business and assumes responsibility for the most important sales area – “Upper Bavaria”.

Creation of new sales areas – “Southwest” and “Central/North”. Launch of the Käuferle VARIOBOX – a new and flexible modular construction system for roofing and partitioning in residential and commercial construction.

Largest investment volume in recent years: purchase of an adjacent site. Commissioning of one of the most modern plastic window machining centres on the market.

Expansion of the product area “plastic and aluminum entrance doors”.

Foundation of the subsidiary EMA GmbH in Austria. The product range is extended by the introduction of the partition wall system made of wood (UTS-H). Classification of the plastic window program in 2D, 5K and 5K designs, after the introduction of the 76-mm depth.

Commissioning of the 2nd window processing centre for profile systems 2D / 3D / ID. The product range is extended by the introduction of roller shutters.

KÄUFERLE receives the RAL quality mark for windows, production and assembly. A new machining centre for sectional doors is put into operation. Expansion of the production area through the acquisition of a 4000 m² hall at the Aichach site.

Economic slowdown forces restructuring. The production now focuses on gates and partitions, and a nationwide sales network for Germany is established.

The production and administration space is expanded to approx. 6900 m2. The company receives the Bavarian Government State Prize for outstanding craftsmanship.

Following the unexpected death of the company’s founder Josef Käuferle, his son, Werner Käuferle, takes over the company.

The company moves to a newly designated industrial area. 3300 m2 of production space and 600 m2 of administrative and social space are created. Manufacturing of products begins.

A further 1900 m2 of production area is created and then soon expanded to 2200 m2. A metal construction department is set up.

1959

The rapidly expanding business moves from the town centre to the outskirts of Aichach. A new 350 m2 production hall and office are built. The production of steel doors and gates begins.

Josef Käuferle, as a young mastercraftsman, founds the metal working company.
